ann_suthowski.jpgMeet Ann Suthowski: Ann, was born in Wicomico county and graduated from Wicomico High School. She has a AA degree from St. Mary's Jr. College, a BS/MS from Salisbury University, and ABD from the University of Maryland - College Park.

Ann has served as Wicomico County Republican Central Committee member for many years, first elected in 1990 through 1998 and then 2010 through 2018.

She was a past president of the Wicomico County Republican Women's Club for 5 years and served on the board of the Maryland Federation of Republican Woman (MFRW) for 10 years. Ann also served and chaired various election campaign committees, in Wicomico county, through the past many years; from Salisbury City Council to Presidential campaigns for the United States

Ann has received multiple awards for service from the Business and Professional Women's Club, Wicomico county's commission on Aging, and Wicomico county's Commission on Women.

Her service has also included officiating as a civil judge for the Wicomico County Zoning Appeals Board, the Wicomico County Election Board, the Board of Friends of the Salisbury Zoo, and the Board of Friends of Poplar Hill Mansion,. She was past President of the American Association of University Women and the Town and Country Garden Club.

Ann 's past professional experience includes 31 years of a Secondary Reading Specialist, English, and Journalism in Laurel, Delaware's school district. She was a Representative for the school district on state testing, reading, English, on the school committees, and throughout the state of Delaware for secondary reading methods and adolescent literacy, as well as a teacher of secondary reading methods for the State of Delaware and Salisbury University. Ann has also served as a member and officer of numerous educational organizations.

Ann is a member of Bethesda United Methodist Church, in Salisbury. She was a past President of the United Methodist Women for 5 years and was voted UMC Woman of the Year. She has also served her church as a member of the Administrative Board, Finance Committee, and usher.

Wicomico County Republican Central Committee
