David Goslee is a Wicomico county native, born in Sharptown, Maryland, who attended Sharptown Elementary and was a Mardela High School graduate in 1958. He was US Air Force early enlistment and served in active duty, from 1958 to 1960.
In 1960 David was assigned as Transportation Coordinator with the Wicomico County Civil Defense.
He served in the Salisbury City Police Department for many years and served a commission as a Deputy Sherriff for Wicomico County from 1961 to 1983. During this time, David owned and operated D&G General Contractors and held a mortgage brokers license. During his tenure in law enforcement, David studied in FBI schools, at the Maryland's Police Commission, Salisbury State College, AA Community College, and Wor-Wic Tech.
David owned and operated Salisbury Mall Security and his team captured murder suspects and worked with law enforcement and prosecutors in preserving evidence, that led to the prosecution of the perpetrators, who murdered a mall employee.
In 1987 he joined the Maryland Divisions of Corrections and served through 1998. During his tenure, he supervised servile areas of the transportation unit, assisted in the 2-way radio installation with the Maryland State Police, and conducted training of CDL for 6 years. During that time, David opened his own Private Detective company.
Dave has been a trainer for Hopkins Motor Coaches of Dover, DE, Carolina Trail ways, and holds a CDL license and is a trainer for all types of trucks and motor coaches.
Dave retired from the State of Maryland in 1998 with 35 years in law enforcement and related fields. Dave opened his current business, D.O.T. Training and Services LLC, in 1996
He enjoys spending time with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is his Sunday School secretary, and choir member. Dave is a member of the Gideon's International and the Salisbury Chamber of Commerce.
David was elected to the Wicomico Central Committee in 2006, 2010, 2014 and most recently in 2018. In addition to his service on the Central Committee Dave was elected to Wicomico County Board of Education in 2018 to a four year term representing District 3.
